Loves eternal flame
As mad as a hornet
Sweeter than a honey bee
This schizophrenic monster
Is floating out to sea
The tossing the turning
The rising the falling
Highs and lows
Elation quickly turning to solid blows
What of all this fickleness
What of all the fall
This constant inconsistency
Who will rise up to His call
The call to stand upon a rock
That will never shake or shift or change
That turns your heart of stone to flesh
To beat with loves eternal flame
To place your eyes by faith on Christ
For one day you will surely see
In a twinkle of an eye you'll be
Just like Christ in paradise
Together for all eternity.
